Welcome aboard! A bad case of mass forgetfulness plagues the passengers! It’s up to you to embark on a journey of self-discovery shaped by your own personality. As a lost ladybug, talk to everyone on board and uncover the train’s secret destination in a wholesome, card-based, talk-'em-up RPG!
STORY
Welcome to “The Train." What was supposed to be just a regular commute took a strange turn after a mysterious tunnel caused everyone to forget their final destination. Where is everyone headed? What is really going on? Is it even a real train? Whatever happened, it’s up to you to step up and solve the mystery.
You won’t be doing it alone either - there are dozens of other passengers on board who all want to know where they’re going. But, not everyone will want to work together either. It’s up to you to resolve differences, using a card-based battle-of-wits system, where the goal is to resolve the conflict and find common ground.
FEATURES
PERSONAL JOURNEY
Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses (yep, even you!) Your interactions with the passengers and all your other choices will shape the game. Some bugs might appreciate your small talk, while others hate social interaction. Learn to recognize your differences and overcome your pitfalls together.
BATTLE
Your deck is based on your personality, which means that some battles might be a struggle for you, but easy-peasy for someone else!
You can only "win" a battle by working together. So you won't get anywhere if either of you runs out of Health. Use Approach, Action, and Bonus cards to fill up the Progress bar and solve your conflict. Not every combo will be effective tho, depending on what kind of bug you’re dealing with.
COLLECT CARDS
Sometimes you don’t have the necessary cards and that’s okay! You'll earn those through experience or as a reward from the other passengers. Some might even contain a “little nuggets of wisdom”. Try to collect them all!
